We were just down in Sarasota for a Lumix Luminary team meeting of the minds with some other well known photographers and filmmakers from around the world that use Lumix cameras in their professional and personal lives. As artists, we have been in search of the perfect camera for our entire careers, and now that it's a digital world it changes daily.
Currently the Lumix LX100, seen in the video, is our favorite travel camera, and in our view it's the most state of the art compact camera on the market. It shoots 4K video and gorgeous 12 megapixel stills. At f/1,2 it has a fast image stabilized Leica lens, simple manual controls, and it's as fashionable to carry as it is amazing to shoot with.

We arrived in Florida a couple of days early and staying at the Ritz Carlton Sarasota for Jennifer's birthday, and on this evening we took a walk down to the beach, where I filmed this little short on the Panasonic Lumix GH4 entirely hand held. Due to the August heat, the camera lens kept fogging up after leaving the air conditioning, but I shot anyway as it added a little something different.
