This week we adventured out to NYC and stayed at The Nomo Soho Hotel. It was a very fashionable location as we had hoped, and it gave us an opportunity to photograph Jennifer in some of the latest fashions from the Charlee lineup.

Photographing our clients and creating beautiful stories still moves us, and it's how we make our sole living. We mention this because we have had a few people ask if we are done taking portraits now that we have a fashion line. The answer is absolutely not! First and foremost we are photographers! We may grow artistically in new directions, but we can't foresee a day when we won't still be in love with creating with a camera. We see this as an extension of our abilities, not an end to it.
On that note, we just wrapped branding shoots for a couple of creative companies. This has been another avenue of growth for our studio over the past few years, and we are thrilled about it. There is nothing cooler than working with companies on updating their visual image and creating fresh content for them to send out into the world.
2016 also looks to be a huge wedding season. We are over half way booked on our dates, and Jennifer is meeting with couples nearly everyday. We can't wait for wedding season to begin, because wedding photography is such a big passion for us.
AT HOME

As passionate as we are about great food, Jennifer hasn't had time to enjoy cooking much the past few weeks. We have however been gearing up for spring with a lot of home improvements. We are giving the studio some updates, and getting the outdoors cleaned up and ready for spring portraits. Fingers crossed we had our last snow storm of the year as it looks like it will be up to 70 degrees at some point this week... Yahoo!
