Vlog Chapter 47
In this chapter we are off for a quick trip to Chicago to photograph and film the first birthday party for George, and long time clients and friends of ours Courtney and Eric who's wedding we photographed several years ago. We are blessed to have the opportunity to capture the lives and family for so many, and we are often called upon for special occasions like this because family and friends are all in town together.
Beyond the birthday we managed to make it into downtown Chicago and make this most of this quick trip. We made it over to The Art Institute of Chicago, which definitely had a wow factor. Their modern and contemporary art collection is no doubt inspiring. As artists we make it a point to visit museums and galleries when we are in different cities around the world.
We stayed at the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel, and loved the space, and the rooftop bar. It is a bustling modernized hotel, and yet it has an old world charm. The rooftop bar and eatery were spectacular, and the game room bar was equally creative.
After a long, but fun day hanging out in Millennium Park and surrounding area it was a flight back to Hartford for more photo sessions and assignments.
