BEHIND THE SCENES WITH CHARLES AND JENNIFER MARING

Join us behind the scenes on our trip out to the Palm Springs Photo Festival where we were working with the Panasonic Lumix S1 and Lumix S1R. Panasonic Lumix flew us out as two of their ambassadors so that we could be there to inform, educate, and answer questions. We loaned out gear all week to photographers anxious to test out the new full frame mirrorless system from Panasonic, and also spent some time testing the cameras in a variety of situations ourselves.

The Lumix S1 and S1R are two of the most capable modern camera systems for photography and video bar none. Their sensors have been rated higher than any other on the mark, and the awards are rolling in from all directions. We were among the very first photographers in the world to get to put these cameras through the paces in the real world, and we are still testing out all the modern features.

We had never been to Palm Springs, let alone The Palm Springs Photo Festival so this was turned out to be both a professional and personal experience all in one. We adored the festival and their lineup of fine art photographers and speakers. They had incredible parties, a decent size trade show, and a lot of great people from all areas of the photographic industry. We highly recommended this for any photographer, pro or amateur, seeking to focus on fine art possibilities.
