Thanksgiving Decor - Week of Thanksgiving Day 5 Wrap-up
Week of Thanksgiving Day 5
I am wrapping up our Thanksgiving posts with this last look at the details that I put together to embellish our dining room and table, along with a specialty cocktail to help everyone enjoy to the fullest.
The Centerpieces
I created a varied centerpiece by wrapping these basic glass vases with burlap and bringing some color out with cranberries in the base and roses that would compliment the color of the dining room. Secondarily I added candles and votives to bring a warm glow to the room. There is nothing like candlelight at dinner.
The Napkins
I decided to put some effort into personalization for each guest by creating name cards which graced the napkins. The actual napkins themselves is actually upholstery fabric wrapped with burlap and complimented by a butterfly and fall leaf that had a clasp that would hold it all together beautifully.
The Cocktail
Thanksgiving requires a cocktail in our household, but I kept it simple and concise by just serving Proscecco, which we enhanced with pomegranate juice to give it the cozy red holiday color.
