Join us behind the scenes as we create portraits coinciding with a big announcement from Profoto and Lumix regarding the two companies working together on TTL strobe capabilities. Just prior to launch we spent some time creating with the latest Lumix Firmware for the Lumix S1 and S1R which enables the ability to work with Profoto strobes in TTL mode using the Profoto TTL-O Remote. We also got to work with PhotoJoseph who flew in from the west coast to capture the story as well, which was really awesome.
The new firmware updates across the Panasonic Lumix S1 series, the Lumix G9, GH5, and GH5s has unveiled lots of new features. This BTS studio vlog just focuses on the Profoto TTL feature. Our honest opinion and experience is that the TTL compatibility is spot on, and while you can use flash exposure compensation in the Lumix camera menu, not once did we need to even across this wide spectrum of lighting conditions. The exposure were just as you see them here. Needless to say we are excited about these new features, and the quality of exposure they produce.
